About Me
My name is Ruth Saunderson
BA (Hons), PGCE, NPQLT
As a voice teacher, I strive to help my students develop their vocal skills and reach their full potential. With years of experience and a deep knowledge of music theory, I'm able to tailor each lesson to the individual needs and goals of my students. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your singing to the next level, I'm here to help you succeed.

As a piano teacher, I am keen to ensure that all my students have a firm understanding of the basics of playing, including posture, notation and an understanding of the importance of quality practise not quantity.

I have a particular interest in SEND learning, and have been writing and developing my own SEND music scheme for teaching SEND learners to play the piano; breaking down the barriers to reading music which can often deter or limit music learning for those who find traditional methods difficult to access.

I have been a passionate and dedicated classroom teacher and music specialist for 13 years. I have been a voice coach at school, running choirs and individual sessions.

During my years as a teacher I have undertaken many additional qualifications and courses, including studying with the British Kodály Association, and competing the Estill Level 1 & 2: Figures for Voice & 6 Qualities at the Royal Academy of Music.
As a keen performer myself I have a particular interest in helping performers to find their place on stage.

Based in Worcester Park - South West London - I can cover a range of areas.
